Description
ICU RN
Job Details
- Location: Waimea, Hawaii
- Employment type: Contract
- Contract length: 13 weeks
- Shift: Nights/Rotating
- Hours: 80 hours every 2 weeks
- Unit: ICU/CCU
- Patient ratio: 1:2 depending on acuity
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Hawaii
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- ICU - Intensive Care Unit (2 years of experience)
- ICU - Intensive Care Unit experience within the last year
- BLS
- ACLS
- NIHSS
- PALS
Clinical Responsibilities
- Provide ICU/CCU care for pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients
- Care for surgical patients and patients with serious respiratory and/or cardiac conditions
- After-hours PACU recovery coverage
- Float to OB, MS, PACU, and ER as competency allows
Additional Notes
- Emergency room experience is recommended
- Hospital orientation includes HR/in-service, unit orientation, and competency completion
