Description
Travel Registered Nurse — Renal Med-Surg
Location
- Zanesville, Ohio
Contract
- 13 weeks
- 36 hours per week
- Night shift: 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
- Every other weekend required
- No on-call requirement
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Ohio
- Med Surg / Telemetry (3 years of experience)
- Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year
- BLS
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Experience with Epic
Clinical Setting
- Renal/medical-surgical unit
- Adult patients with acute and chronic kidney disease, post-dialysis needs, and complex medical-surgical conditions
- High-acuity, high-volume environment with frequent assessments and continuous monitoring
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to adult renal and medical-surgical patients
- Monitor cardiac telemetry
- Collaborate with nephrologists and interdisciplinary teams
- Float as needed to similar Med-Surg areas, including wound care, stroke, oncology, cardiac, observation, and ED boarders
Notes
- Renal experience is strongly preferred
- Start dates are limited unless the nurse is a returning traveler within 9 months
- Requested time off must be disclosed at submission
