Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Michigan
- PACU - Post Anesthesia Care (2 years of experience)
- PACU - Post Anesthesia Care experience within the last year
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- ACLS issued by American Heart Association
- NIHSS
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Submission Requirements
- Current work history
- Skills checklist current within 1 year, relevant to PCU
- 2 supervisory reference forms completed within the last 2 years
Role Summary
- Provides nursing care for patients recovering from anesthesia
- Monitors respiratory and cardiac status, assesses patients, administers medications and treatments, processes provider orders, and follows up on medication changes and order clarifications
- Supports patient safety, comfort, and care plan updates in collaboration with the care team
