ICU RN
Overview
- Location: Glen Burnie, Maryland
- Employment type: Travel/Contract
- Start date: 09/21/26
- Contract length: 8 weeks
- Shift: Nights, 3x12 hours, 20:00–08:30
- Hours per week: 36
- Patient population: Adult to geriatrics
- Ratio: 1:3
- Weekends: Every other weekend required
- Holidays: Required as scheduled
- On-call: No pre-scheduled on-call
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Maryland
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- 2 years of ICU - Intensive Care Unit experience
- ICU - Intensive Care Unit experience within the last year
- ACLS issued by American Heart Association
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- NIHSS
- CPI
Role Expectations
- Must be able to float to ICU as needed
- Floating within the specialty and to lower-acuity areas as needed
- First-time travelers are accepted with strong IMC/ICU-level experience due to the unit’s high acuity
Compliance / Pre-Start Requirements
- Government-issued photo ID
- I-9 and E-Verify attestation
- Background check and required state/federal exclusion checks
- Employment application/resume completed within 30 days of start
- Two supervisory references within 1 year of start
- Work history verification for the previous 5 years
- Physical exam
- Drug screen
- TB screening
- Seasonal flu vaccination or approved exemption
- Required immunization/titer documentation
- Badge photo
- Facility onboarding documents and training modules before start
