Description
Labor and Delivery RN
Overview
- Travel/contract role in Spokane, Washington
- Night shift: 4x12 hours, 7:00 PM–7:00 AM
- 48 hours per week approved
- 13-week contract
- Floating between units is required
- Some weekend shifts are required
- On-call is not required
- Block scheduling is not required
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Washington
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
- 1 year of Labor and Delivery experience
- Antepartum experience
- BLS certification
- NRP certification
- EFM certification or completion of the Fetal Heart Rate Monitoring Assessment exam
- ACLS certification
- PALS certification
- TNCC certification
- CHEMO certification
- IV certification
- NIH Stroke Certification
- CPI certification
- Management of Assaultive Behavior (MAB)
- Medication Test/Pharmacology Competency Exam
- Competency Exam
Clinical Experience
- Experience with acute care high-risk labor and delivery
- Experience with antepartum care
- Experience managing pre-eclampsia, diabetes, multiples, VBAC/TOLAC, active labor management, induction/augmentation, and maternal emergencies
Work Environment
- Short-term acute care hospital
- Level II trauma center
- Level II pediatric trauma center
- Teaching hospital
- Epic charting system
