MRI Tech
Overview
- Travel/contract role in Columbus, Ohio
- 13-week assignment
- Day shift: 3x12 hours, 9:30 AM–10:00 PM
- No weekends
- No call
- Holidays only if needed to meet contracted weekly hours
Required Qualifications
- MRI Technologist with 1 year of experience
- MRI Technologist experience within the last year
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- ARRT certification
- Education from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program
- Experience with Epic
Schedule and Work Setting
- Shift length may vary from 3 to 12 hours
- Will work with adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
- Expected to prep MRI patients
Additional Role Details
- MRI department uses Siemens scanners
- X-ray experience is preferred but not required
Compliance and Onboarding
- Emergency contact form required
- Background check required, including Ohio BCI/FBI fingerprinting
- Proof of fingerprint completion required for APN candidates
- Employment application required
- 2 professional references required
- Skills checklist required
- Orientation safety manual acknowledgment required annually
- Fraud, waste, and abuse training certificate required before start and annually
- Ethics and compliance policies must be reviewed and signed annually
- Dress code and hand hygiene policy must be reviewed and signed
- Physical exam required within 1 year of start
- Tdap required
- Negative TB test or chest x-ray required within 1 year of start
- TB questionnaire required annually
- Drug screen required within 3 months of start
- Flu vaccination or declination required during flu season
- COVID vaccination is not required but recommended
