Radiologic Technologist

Location

  • Newton, Massachusetts

Employment Type

  • Long-term assignment

Shift

  • 1:00 PM - 11:00 PM

Required Qualifications

  • Associate's degree in Diagnostic Imaging
  • Valid Radiology Technologist license in Massachusetts
  • ARRT (R)
  • Radiology Technologist experience
  • 1 year of Radiology Technologist experience within the last year

Preferred Qualifications

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • 2-3 years of radiology technician experience with multiple patient populations

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform radiographic exams using appropriate technique based on anatomy and patient condition
  • Prepare patients for diagnostic procedures, including transport, transfer, immobilization, and positioning
  • Explain procedures while considering patients’ physical and emotional needs
  • Record digital images for radiologist interpretation
  • Maintain pertinent records
  • Provide radiation protection according to safety standards
  • Assist radiology technologist students and new staff with exams, sterile technique, and supply stocking

  • Resume including the past 7 years of work experience and city/state for all work experience and education
  • 2 references from within the past 4 years, including at least 1 supervisor or above in the skillset
  • Skills checklist completed within 1 year of submission
