Description
Emergency Department Registered Nurse
Location
Fort Defiance, Arizona
Employment Type
Contract
Schedule
- 12-hour day shift
- Must be flexible to take other shifts as needed
- Typical schedule is 7 on / 7 off
- 36 hours one week and 48 hours the next
- May need to float to other departments if qualified
Assignment Details
- Emergency Department with multiple care areas, including main ED, fast track, and observation
- Nurses rotate through different areas regularly
- May be assigned to triage, quick registration, COVID tent, and entry screening
- May assist with COVID testing and immunization clinics as needed
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Arizona
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- ED - Emergency Department (2 years of experience)
- ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
- One completed travel assignment
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- ACLS issued by American Heart Association
- PALS issued by American Heart Association or ENPC
- TNCC
- Conscious sedation certification, obtained through the facility after confirmation, with a fee
