Respiratory Therapist
Overview
- Travel/contract role in Big Spring, Texas
- 13-week assignment
- Night shift: alternating 36/48-hour nights
- Start date within the next 3–5 weeks
Required Qualifications
- Valid Respiratory Therapist license in Texas
- Respiratory Therapist (1 year of experience)
- Respiratory Therapist experience within the last year
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- Experience working with Geriatric patients
- Experience working with Pediatric patients
- Experience working with Neonate patients
- Experience working with Infant patients
- Experience working with Adolescent patients
- Experience working with Adult patients
Certifications
- ACLS
- BLS
- PALS
- NRP, as applicable
- CHEMO, as applicable
- TNCC, as applicable
- EFM, as applicable
- ENPC, as applicable
- NIH Stroke Certification, as applicable
- National tech certification verification
- State license verification
Health Requirements
- Physical exam within 1 year of start
- Negative TB test or chest X-ray
- TB questionnaire
- Measles immunity or vaccination documentation
- Mumps immunity or vaccination documentation
- Rubella immunity or vaccination documentation
- Hepatitis B immunity, vaccination, or declination documentation
- Varicella immunity or vaccination documentation
- Drug test
- Flu vaccination or declination during flu season
- Initial COVID series

Additional Notes

- Fit test required within 6 months prior to start
- Accepted fit-test masks: 3M 1860 and 3M 1860S
- Drug test must include the listed panel components
- On-site options may be available for NRP if needed
