ER RN Travel Contract
Overview
- Location: Issaquah, Washington
- Employment type: Travel/Contract
- Shift: Night, 3x12 hours
- Weekly hours: 36
- Contract length: 13 weeks
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Washington
- ED - Emergency Department (1 year of experience)
- ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
- One completed travel assignment
- BLS issued by American Heart Association or Heart and Stroke Foundation
- ACLS issued by American Heart Association or Heart and Stroke Foundation
- PALS issued by American Heart Association or Heart and Stroke Foundation
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Unit Details
- Adult and pediatric emergency department, including ED holding, triage, and urgent care
- Handles chest pain, shortness of breath, weakness, emergent, urgent, and non-urgent conditions, and injuries
- 20% pediatrics
Required Clinical Skills
- Chest tubes, including setup and care
- TPA
- Breathing treatments
- Trach care
- RSI drugs
- Cardioversion and defibrillation
- Cooling and warming blanket use
- LVAD/Impella
- 12-lead EKG acquisition
- Rapid infuser
