Description
Travel/Contract Registered Nurse Job
Overview
- Location: Jersey City, New Jersey
- Specialty: Registered Nurse
- Setting: Cardiovascular operating room
- Contract length: 13 weeks
- Shift: Day, 4x10 hours
- Hours per week: 40
- Weekend requirement: Every other weekend
- Call requirement: Twice a week and every third weekend
- Holiday requirement: Must work 2 of 3 holidays, or 1 of 2 / 2 of 3 holidays per unit requirements
- Floating: Must be able to float to general OR
- Scrubs: Provided
- Charting: EPIC
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in New Jersey
- CVOR experience with 1.5 years of experience
- CVOR experience within the last year
- BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Experience in an Acute Care setting
- Ability to circulate in the operating room
- Scrub experience in the operating room
Preferred Qualifications
- ACLS
Key Responsibilities
- Circulate in the OR
- Scrub when needed
- Handle adult open heart and general cases
- Float to general OR

- Denote all requested time off at submission
- RTO submitted after offer will not be accepted
