IR Technologist
Location
- Marshfield, Wisconsin
Contract Length
- 13 weeks
Schedule
- Days
- 4 ten-hour shifts per week
- Rotating day off
- May consider 5 eight-hour shifts
- Call rotation includes weeknights, weekends, and possible holidays
- Call response time: 30 minutes
Required Qualifications
- 2 years of IR experience
- ACLS
- BLS
- ARRT
Assignment Details
- Interventional radiology / vascular tech role
- Hybrid coverage for vascular cases
- 7 procedure rooms total
- Average daily volume is 20+ cases across all rooms
- Duties include preparing procedure suites, maintaining radiation safety setup, calibrating and troubleshooting equipment, setting up sterile tables, scrubbing in, assisting with procedures, managing radiation dose and imaging angles, cleaning/restocking rooms, and sheath removal
Patient / Case Mix
- IR cases include port placements, liver biopsy, IVC placements, G-tube placements, PICC and central line placements, and neuro procedures such as coiling, thrombectomy, and embolization
- Vascular cases include fem-pop, AAA repair, carotids, EVAR, and angiograms
Orientation
- 2 to 3 full days of training/shadowing
- Buddy call during the second week

- Previous employees from this facility are not accepted
- Clinicians who have ever worked for this facility must have an end date at least 6 months before submission
- Provided scrubs; personal scrub caps are allowed
- Must clock in and out at the facility
