Description
Oncology Infusion RN
Overview
- Travel/contract registered nurse role in Lakeville, Minnesota
- Outpatient oncology/hematology infusion setting
- Day shift, Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM or 8:00 AM start with 4:00 PM or 4:30 PM end
- 1:5 patient ratio
- First-time travelers accepted
- Floating within scope may be required
- Block scheduling may be accommodated
- Local candidates are not accepted; 100-mile radius restriction applies
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Minnesota
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- 1 year of infusion experience
- Infusion experience within the last year
- Oncology experience
- BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- ONS/ONCC
Schedule
- No weekends
- No on-call
Assignment Details
- Contract length: 16 weeks
- Guaranteed hours apply, with up to 3 shifts subject to cancellation by the client without penalty
- RTO should ideally be no more than 5 days
Clinical Setting
- Adult oncology and hematology outpatient infusion care
- Common services include chemotherapy, immunotherapy, targeted therapy, hydration, iron infusions, injections, supportive care, port access, central line management, infusion reaction management, patient education, and symptom management
- No blood products or transfusions are administered at this location
Additional Notes
- Navy blue scrubs
- Free parking in unrestricted spaces
- Physical exam required within 12 months prior to start
- Tdap required
- Negative TB or chest X-ray required
- Respiratory safety clearance required prior to start
- References are not required for client clearance
- Drug screening is not required for client clearance
- Background check and Minnesota DHS fingerprint clearance are required
