Description
Registered Nurse - Behavioral Health (Travel)
Location: Aurora, Colorado
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Hours per Week: 36

- Unit Type: Geriatric Psychiatric (Behavioral Health)
- Number of Beds: 120
- Number of Staff: 50
- Patient Ratios: Approximately 1:8-9 (days and nights; estimated, not guaranteed)
- Equipment Used: Welch Allen Vital Signs Machines
- Electronic Medical Record (EMR) System: Meditech
- Work Environment: Family-oriented, collaborative team culture

Job Description
- Provide nursing care on a geriatric behavioral health unit
- Perform behavioral health admissions and discharges
- Serve as Lead RN resource (training provided)
- Float to other inpatient adult behavioral health units as needed
- Work hours typically from 7 PM to 7 AM (night shift)
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Colorado
- Psychiatric experience within the last year
- Minimum 1 year of psychiatric experience
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) training
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) / Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong inpatient behavioral health experience
