Post Partum RN
Job Overview
- Location: Albuquerque, New Mexico
- Employment type: Travel/Contract
- Contract length: 13 weeks
- Shift: Night shift, 4x12 hours
- Weekly hours: 48
- Schedule notes: 36- or 48-hour option available
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in New Mexico
- Post Partum (1 year of experience)
- Post Partum experience within the last year
- BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross or RQI or American Safety and Health Institute
- NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Job Requirements
- Float required
- Weekends required
- Accepts first-time travelers
- Local candidates within a 50-mile radius are not accepted
Compliance / Onboarding
- Driver’s license or state ID required
- E-Verify required
- Background check required
- Education verification required
- Fingerprinting required onsite during orientation
- Physical exam required within 12 months of start
- Fit test required within 1 year of start
- Tdap vaccination required within 10 years of start
- Negative TB test or chest X-ray required within 1 year of start
- Drug screen required within 90 days of start
- Measles, mumps, rubella, hepatitis B, and varicella immunity/vaccination documentation required
- Seasonal flu vaccination or approved exemption required during flu season
- Skills checklist required annually
- Work history verification required for 7 years
- Complete application/resume required

- Unit-specific competency testing may be required
- ACLS, PALS, and other specialty certifications may be required as applicable
