Description
Operating Room RN
Location
Athens, Texas
Schedule
- Day shift
- 5x8 hours
- 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM
- 40 hours per week
Contract Length
- 13 weeks
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Texas
- OR - Operating Room (1 year of experience)
- OR - Operating Room experience within the last year
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross or RQI or American Safety and Health Institute
- BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross or RQI or American Safety and Health Institute
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Orthopedics experience
- OB/GYN experience
- ENT Surgery experience
- Pain Management experience
Preferred Experience
- Travel experience preferred
Role Details
- Operating room RN
- Circulates for general, ortho, OB, ENT, and podiatry cases
- Pain management rotating and weekend call
Compliance / Onboarding Requirements
- Driver’s license or state ID
- E-Verify
- 7-year background check
- Education verification
- Highest level of education must be verified
- Primary source online license verification
- NURSYS verification
- Clear headshot for badge
- Physical exam within 12 months of start
- Fit test within 1 year of start
- Tdap vaccination within 10 years of start
- Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year of start
- Drug screen within 90 days of start
- Seasonal flu vaccination or approved exemption during flu season
Work Restrictions
- Does not contract travelers residing in Henderson, Anderson, Cherokee, Rusk, Panola, Smith, Gregg, Van Zandt, Wood, Upshur, Camp, Hopkins, Franklin, Titus, or Morris counties
