Certified Surgical Technician- OR
Overview
- Location: Newton, Massachusetts
- Employment type: LTA
- Contract length: 13 weeks
- Schedule: 40hr rotating, 4x10hr shifts
Required Qualifications
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification required for Surg Techs; NBSTSA or NCCT only
- 1 year of Certified Surgical Technologist experience
- Certified Surgical Technologist experience within the last year
- BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- License/certification verification required
- Resume required for submission and must include past 7 years of work experience; all work experience and education must include city and state
- 2 references required within 4 years of submission, including at least 1 supervisor or above in skillset
- Skills checklist required and must be completed within 1 year of submission
- Candidate submission coversheet required for submission to initial assignment and new facility submission
Onboarding Requirements
- Self-study orientation and attestation required
- Fit test required within 365 days of start date and updated annually
- Respirator medical clearance attestation required if fit test is required for skill
- MMR documentation or proof of immunity required
- Influenza vaccine required
- TB test documentation required within 3 months of start date
- Health statement required within 365 days of start date
