Radiologic Technologist II
Location
- Waltham, Massachusetts
Assignment Details
- Long-term assignment
- 16 weeks
- Shift: 08:00 - 04:30
- Assigned to one radiography area, with possible coverage in alternate locations based on operational needs
Required Qualifications
- Valid Radiology Technologist license in Massachusetts
- Radiology Technologist experience within the last year
- 1 year of Radiology Technologist experience
- BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- ARRT
- Professional license and/or certification must be verified through primary source verification
- MA conditional licenses are not accepted
- Resume must include the past 7 years of work experience
- 2 references within the past 4 years, including at least 1 supervisor or above in the skillset
- Skills checklist completed within 1 year of submission
Onboarding / Compliance Requirements
- N95 fit test completed within 365 days of start date and updated annually
- Respirator medical clearance attestation, if fit test is required for the skill
- MMR documentation or proof of immunity
- Influenza vaccine during flu season
- TB test documentation within 3 months of start date
- Health statement signed by an MD, DO, NP, or PA within 365 days of start date
- Criminal background check
- Massachusetts CORI check
- SSN trace
- National sex offender check

- Confirmation of assignment/POI form

Role Summary
- Performs diagnostic imaging using radiographic, fluoroscopic, portable, and related equipment
- Explains exams and safety protocols to patients
- Positions patients and adjusts imaging equipment for each exam
- Applies radiation safety principles, including ALARA and proper shielding
- Reviews images for quality and completeness before transmission to PACS
- Documents exams and relevant clinical details accurately
- Collaborates with radiologists, nurses, providers, technologists, and other care team members
