Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Maryland
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
- OR - Operating Room (5 years of experience)
- OR - Operating Room experience within the last year
- Experience in Charge roles
- Robotics experience
- Bariatric experience
- Trauma experience
- OB/GYN experience
- Urology experience
- Orthopedics experience
- Orthopedic Surgery experience
- Neurology experience
- Experience with Epic
Preferred Qualifications
- CNOR
- General, Bariatrics, Trauma, GYN, Urology, Robotics, Ortho, Neuro, and podiatry experience
Unit / Clinical Setting
- Level II Trauma center
- General OR cases with trauma, uro, podiatry, ortho, plastics, neuro, gyn, endo's, ENT, thoracic, vascular, cardio, bariatric, and DaVinci robotics experience
Responsibilities
- Communicate effectively with Anesthesia, Surgeons/Providers, Nursing, and Leadership
- Prioritize acuity, trauma, emergent, urgent, and add-on cases
Schedule Expectations
- Holidays required as scheduled
- Weekends required, rotational and inclusive on-call shifts
- On-call required: 5–6 calls per 4-week period, including one weekend call
- Must arrive within 30 minutes when called in
Floating
- Float within the specialty and to sister Laurel campus as needed
