Schedule

  • 4x10 hours
  • 40 hours per week
  • 06:45–17:15

Contract

  • 13 weeks
  • Start date: 09/28/26

Required Qualifications

  • Valid RN license in Maryland
  • Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
  • BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
  • OR - Operating Room (5 years of experience)
  • OR - Operating Room experience within the last year
  • Experience in Charge roles
  • Robotics experience
  • Bariatric experience
  • Trauma experience
  • OB/GYN experience
  • Urology experience
  • Orthopedics experience
  • Orthopedic Surgery experience
  • Neurology experience
  • Experience with Epic

Preferred Qualifications

  • CNOR
  • General, Bariatrics, Trauma, GYN, Urology, Robotics, Ortho, Neuro, and podiatry experience

Unit / Clinical Setting

  • Level II Trauma center
  • General OR cases with trauma, uro, podiatry, ortho, plastics, neuro, gyn, endo's, ENT, thoracic, vascular, cardio, bariatric, and DaVinci robotics experience

Responsibilities

  • Communicate effectively with Anesthesia, Surgeons/Providers, Nursing, and Leadership
  • Prioritize acuity, trauma, emergent, urgent, and add-on cases

Schedule Expectations

  • Holidays required as scheduled
  • Weekends required, rotational and inclusive on-call shifts
  • On-call required: 5–6 calls per 4-week period, including one weekend call
  • Must arrive within 30 minutes when called in

Floating

  • Float within the specialty and to sister Laurel campus as needed
