Description
Antepartum RN
Overview
- Role: Antepartum RN
- Department: Antepartum core
- Float scope: Labor and Delivery, Mother Baby, Bronson Battle Creek Birthplace, and house for patient sitter needs
- Shift: Night, 3x12 hours, 7:00 PM–7:30 AM
- Guaranteed hours: 36 per week
- Weekend requirement: Every other weekend
- Call: None
- Contract length: 13 weeks
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Michigan
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Antepartum experience within the last year
- 1 year of Antepartum experience
- Experience with Epic
- EFM - Electronic Fetal Monitoring
- ACLS
- BLS
- Medication Test/Pharmacology Competency Exam completed within 1 year prior to start with a passing score of at least 80%
- Competency Exam completed in specialty within 1 year prior to start with a passing score of at least 80%
- One professional reference from a supervisor or manager
- Full 7-year work history with no gaps

- Physical exam within 1 year of start

- Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 30 days of start
- TB questionnaire
- Rubeola, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, and Hepatitis B documentation
- Drug test within 30 days of start
- Flu vaccination or approved exemption, if starting after 11/1
