Role Summary
- Assist patients in reaching maximum physical performance while adjusting to disabilities.
- Restore patient physical functioning by interpreting physical therapy evaluations and test results, determining treatment goals and plans, administering manual exercises, and instructing patients in the use of assistive and supportive devices.
- Patient care is required.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Physical Therapist license in Massachusetts.
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree for licensure from 2016 onward, or bachelor's or master's degree for licensure prior to 2016.
- BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
- Pediatric Physical Therapist experience.

- License/certification verification within 30 days of start date and updated upon expiration.
- MGB Nurse Aide Registry check within 30 days of start.
- MGB Spaulding Orientation Summary.
- MMR documentation or proof of immunity.
- Influenza vaccine.
- TB test documentation.
- Health statement signed by MD/DO/NP/PA.
- Criminal background check within 45 days prior to start date.
- Massachusetts CORI within 30 days prior to start date.
- Education verification.
- SSN trace.
- National sex offender check within 30 days of start and updated annually.
- Exclusion checks within 30 days of start and annually.
- Confirmation of Assignment/POI form for initial assignments and extensions.
