Echocardiographer
Overview
- Specialty: Diagnostic Imaging
- Location: St Johnsbury, Vermont
- Employment type: Contract
- Shift: Monday–Friday, four 8-hour day shifts per week
- Hours per week: 32
Role Summary
Perform high-quality diagnostic echocardiography studies for inpatient, outpatient, emergency department, and surgical patients. The role uses cardiac ultrasound imaging to support the detection, diagnosis, and treatment of cardiovascular disease.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of a program in Cardiac Sonography, Echocardiography, or Diagnostic Medical Sonography
- Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) through ARDMS or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) through CCI
- Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association
- Minimum one year of Echo Technologist experience
- Echo Technologist experience within the last year
- One completed travel assignment
- Driver's License
- Strong knowledge of cardiac anatomy, physiology, pathology, Doppler principles, and echocardiographic imaging techniques

Assignment Details
- Contract length: 13 weeks
- Credentialing is due 5 business days prior to assignment start
- Late credentialing will result in a pushed start date

- A dependable personal vehicle is required for the duration of the assignment
- Housing is not provided
- Local housing resources may be provided as a courtesy, at additional cost
