General Ultrasound Sonographer
Overview
- Contract assignment in St Johnsbury, Vermont
- Day shift, no call
- 32 hours per week
- 13 weeks
Role Summary
- General Ultrasound Sonographer in the Diagnostic Imaging Department
- Recent, hands-on Obstetrical (OB) ultrasound experience is required
- Must be able to independently perform 2nd- and 3rd-trimester OB imaging
Required Qualifications
- Ultrasound Technologist with 3 years of experience
- Ultrasound Technologist experience within the last year
- ARDMS
- RVT
- Experience working with Maternal-Fetal patients
- Driver's License
- Recent hands-on Obstetrical (OB) ultrasound experience
- Ability to independently perform 2nd and 3rd trimester OB ultrasound imaging
- Ability to independently perform fetal anatomy examinations
- Ability to independently perform fetal growth examinations
- Ability to independently perform biophysical profile examinations
- Ob/Gyn Sonographer experience
Assignment Details
- Travelers start on Wednesdays
- During the week of orientation, travelers on a 48-hour contract are only guaranteed 36 hours due to a midweek start
Housing and Transportation
- Housing is not provided
- A dependable personal vehicle is required for the duration of the assignment
- Public transportation is not available
- No local taxi services or ride-share options are available
