Description
RN Emergency Room
Overview
- Travel/contract RN Emergency Room role in Harvey, Illinois
- Night shift: 3x12 hours, 19:00–7:30
- 36 hours per week
- 13-week contract
- Patient ratio: 1:4
- Floating required
- Every other weekend required
- First-timers accepted
- Locals accepted
- Block scheduling not accommodated
- RTO limit: 7 days max
- Charting system: Epic
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Illinois
- 1 year of ED - Emergency Department experience
- ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
- Experience working with Level 1 Trauma patients
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- ACLS
- NIHSS
- PALS
- CPI
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Illinois license or applicable fingerprinting/registry requirements, depending on licensure status
- 2 references
- Current resume with the last 7 years of employment
- Work history verification covering 7 years of employment
- Skills checklist for the traveler’s unit and any units they may float to
Preferred
- Teaching hospital experience
- TNCC
