Description
Medical Technologist (MT)
Overview
- Role: Medical Technologist (MT)
- Unit: LAB – Med Tech
- Schedule: Nights, 8-hour shifts
- Hours: 40 hours per week
- Weekend/Holiday: Weekend and holiday rotations required
- Setting: Generalist lab technologist working in all areas of the lab
- Patient population: Inpatient and outreach
- Bed count: 200
Required Qualifications
- Certification: Medical Technologist Certification (ASCP, NCA, AMT, HEW)
- Experience: Medical Technologist experience within the last year
- Experience: 1 year of experience
Preferred
- Communication skills
- 5+ years of experience
Additional onboarding requirements
- Resume including past 7 years of work experience, with city and state for all work experience and education
- 2 references within 4 years of submission, including at least 1 supervisor or above in the skillset
- Skills checklist completed within 1 year of submission
- Background checks and screenings required for onboarding, including criminal background check, Massachusetts CORI, SSN trace, national sex offender check, exclusion checks, education verification, and assignment/POI form
- Health documentation required for onboarding, including MMR, influenza vaccine, TB test, and health statement
