Description
Nursing Administration
Role
- OR/CVOR RN, Surg Tech/CVOR Surg tech, Hybrid IR Tech, or Surg Assist
Unit
- 28 beds, including 2 hybrid rooms for CV/Vascular
- 60–75 cases per day
- Open 24/7, 365 days a year
- OR operates M-F 0730-2300; after 2300, skeleton crew for trauma and urgent cases only
- Sat-Sun 0700-1700; after 1700, skeleton crew for trauma and urgent cases only
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Illinois
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- CVOR (2 years of experience)
- CVOR experience within the last year
- BLS
- CST
- ARRT
- CSA
- Experience working with Level 1 Trauma or Level 2 Trauma patients
- Experience in an Acute Care setting
- Critical care experience
- Siemens equipment experience
- OR - Operating Room experience
- Experience with Epic
Preferred Qualifications
- Critical care experience for OR RN
- Critical care experience for CVOR RN
Schedule
- 40 hours per week
- 10hr Day Shift
- Every 4th weekend
- 6-week schedule
- No self-scheduling
- Holiday coverage required
- On-call may be required depending on shift/service line, with a 30-minute response time
