Description
Behavioral Health Registered Nurse (RN)
Overview
- Temp assignment in Dubuque, Iowa
- Nights shift
- 13-week contract
- Unit has 9 beds
- Patient population is psych/behavioral
- Ratios can be up to 1:9
- EPIC is used
- First-time travelers are accepted with 24 months of Psych/BH experience
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Iowa
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Behavioral Health (2 years of experience)
- Behavioral Health experience within the last year
- Experience in Charge roles
- Driver's License
- BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- Experience with Epic
- Experience working with Geriatric patients
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with all Geri patients
- De-escalation certification: MOAB, MAB, CPI, or SAMA
- Professional reference from within the last 24 months
Additional Notes
- No locals within 50 miles of Finley Hospital
- Contractor is required to work 1-2 of 3 upcoming Winter holidays unless the unit is closed
- NBO is 16 hours
- Scrub color is grey
