RN - CCU
Overview
- Travel RN position in Corpus Christi, Texas
- Full-time
- Night shift: 7 PM–7 AM
- 1 open position
- 13-week contract
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Texas
- CCU - Coronary Care experience within the last year
- 1 year of experience in CCU - Coronary Care
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- ACLS issued by American Heart Association
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Experience with CABGs (Coronary Artery Bypass Grafts)
- Experience with IMPELLA devices
- Experience with Balloon Pump devices
- Experience with Arctic Sun devices
- Experience with TABLO XT/CRRT (Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy)
- Experience caring for high-acuity patients with multiple comorbidities and complex drips
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing
- Epic experience
- Experience in the related nursing specialty
- Experience in a Critical Care setting
Clinical Experience
- CABGs
- Recovery of post cardiothoracic surgery patients fresh out of OR
- IMPELLA
- Balloon Pump
- Artic sun
- TABLO XT / CRRT
- High-acuity patients with multiple comorbidities and drips
Additional Notes
- New graduates are accepted
- Newly hired experienced RNs must attend New Nurses Orientation within the first 30 days of hire
- New hires are precepted by a designated trained staff member
- Initial onboarding includes organizational entry competency validation and a Critical Care Department-specific competency validation
- Annual competency verification is required
