ICU Registered Nurse

- Day or night shifts
- 3x12 hours
- Every other weekend
- Holidays as needed
- Rotating 36/48-hour schedule

- ASAP start options: September 28 or October 12
Assignment details
- Critical care float pool role
- May be assigned to ICU/IMC areas and to cover ICU/IMC boarders across the hospital
Required qualifications
- Valid RN license in District of Columbia
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Critical Care Float (2 years of experience)
- Critical Care Float experience within the last year
- ICU - Intensive Care Unit experience
- One completed travel assignment
- ACLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- Two positive supervisory references, including one from the most recent assignment
- 7 years of work history with no gaps
- Skills checklist
- Employment application
- Work history verification showing at least 2 years of experience in the past 7 years
Health and compliance requirements
- Annual physical exam
- N95 fit test within 9 months of start, then annually
- Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year
- TB questionnaire annually
- MMR immunity or vaccination documentation
- Hepatitis B titer, series, or signed declination
- Varicella immunity or vaccination documentation
- Drug screen within 90 days of start
- Flu vaccine or approved exemption during flu season
- Color blind testing
- Background check
- EPLS/GSA/SAM check
- HHS/OIG check
- Education verification
- Driver’s license or state ID
- I-9/E-Verify attestation
- Facility modules and required acknowledgements
