Registered Respiratory Therapist
Overview
- Travel assignment in Tallahassee, Florida
- 36 hours per week
- 13-week contract
- Shift: 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
- Unit: Respiratory 754
- Floating: rotates throughout all inpatient units
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Respiratory Therapist license in Florida
- Registered Respiratory Therapist experience within the last year
- 2 years of experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist
- ACLS issued by American Heart Association
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- PALS issued by American Heart Association
- NRP
Unit Details
- 266-bed acute-care hospital
- Unit has two 10-bed ICUs
- Uses Meditech for documentation
- Equipment includes various ventilators and BiPAPs
- Procedures on the unit include aerosol treatments, BiPAP management, and ventilator management
- RTs may perform intubation, arterial line insertion, and bedside bronchoscopy assist
- RTs participate in daily nursing unit department rounding and work with multiple disciplines
- Required uniform: scrubs
