Description
Home Health RN
Overview
- Travel/Contract assignment in Bedford, New Hampshire
- Home health role
- 13-week contract
- Day shift: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday
- No weekend rotation
- No on-call
- Territory: Greater Manchester area
- Average weekly travel: about 300 miles
- No guaranteed hours
- Locals are accepted at the same rate
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in New Hampshire
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- One year of home health experience
- Home health experience within the last year
- One completed travel assignment
- BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- Experience working with adult patients
- Driver's license
- Experience with Homecare Homebase
- Experience with OASIS
- Reliable transportation
- Agency-required liability insurance
- Must be willing to travel up to 75 miles from the home clinic
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior HCHB experience outside the six-month window may be considered if retraining is completed during compliance
Assignment Details
- Average daily caseload: 58 patients
- Weekly productivity expectation: 30 points
- Case types may include Start of Care, Wound Care, Follow-up visits, and other adult home health or hospice services
- Dress code: Scrubs
- Mileage is reimbursed at the IRS standard rate
- Travel between patient homes is reimbursable
- Travel to the first patient and from the last patient is not billable
Notes
- Home visits and periodic office meetings are part of the role
- If patient census is low, floating to a nearby clinic for additional hours may be available
