Description
Pediatrics RN
Overview
- Travel/Contract role in Lubbock, Texas
- 16-week assignment
- Children’s Hospital / Level II Pediatric Trauma Center
- 181 total staff beds
Schedule
- Day shift: 3x12 hours, 7:00–19:00
- 36 hours per week
- On-call required based on unit census
- Weekends required: 5 shifts in a 6-week period
- Float between units: Yes
- Block schedules: No
- 48 hours approved: No
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Texas
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Pediatrics experience
- Pediatric Med Surg experience within the last year
- 1 year of Pediatric Med Surg experience
- NURSYS verification required for all RNs
- ACLS
- BLS
- PALS
- NRP
Preferred Qualifications
- Pediatric experience preferred
Unit Details
- Expected patient ratio: 1:3–5
