Oncology Infusion RN
Role
- Oncology Infusion RN
- Travel/Contract
- Outpatient clinic
Schedule
- Monday to Friday
- 7:30 or 8 start time
- 4 or 4:30 end time
- 5x8 hours
- 40 hours per week
Experience
- 1 year of experience required
- First-time travelers accepted
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Minnesota
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Oncology (1 year of experience)
- Oncology experience within the last year
- BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- ONS/ONCC
- Chemotherapy administration
- Implanted port access
- Central venous access device management
- Infusion reaction management
Preferred
- None stated
Clinical Setting
- Adult oncology and hematology outpatient infusion services
- Chemotherapy, immunotherapy, targeted therapy, hydration, iron infusions, injections, supportive care, port access, central line management, and infusion reaction management
- No blood products/transfusions administered at this location
Additional Details
- Will float within scope to meet facility needs
- Open to accommodating block schedule
- Local candidates not accepted within 100 miles
- RTO ideally no more than 5 days
- On-call not required
- Ratio: 1:5
- Epic/Beacon used for charting and oncology treatment plans
