Interventional Radiology
Overview
- Travel/contract assignment in Charlottesville, Virginia
- 13 weeks
- Day shift: 5x8s or 4x10s, 7:30 AM–4:00 PM
- Rotating call every 4th week
- 50-mile radius rule applies
Role Summary
- Imaging support in the OR working vascular IR
- The role is for a tech, not a nurse
- Open to later start dates
- Clinical review is required before an offer is made
Required Qualifications
- Valid Interventional Radiology Technologist license in Virginia
- Interventional Radiology Technologist experience within the last year
- 1 year of Interventional Radiology Technologist experience
- BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- ARRT
- Experience with Epic
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong vascular/IR experience
- Familiarity with Hybrid OR procedures
- Ability to work independently
Responsibilities
- Pull inventory and order cases in EPIC prior to procedures
- Run the table and controls during cases
- Perform 3D spins and work with fusion technology
- Stay actively engaged throughout the procedure, including filming and post-processing images
- Use HI-IQ to document and add inventory used during the case
- Work closely with vascular surgeons, the OR team, and other members of the procedural team
- Use a C-arm to support simple surgical cases during downtime, including Impellas and cystos
