Description
Endoscopy RN
Overview
- Travel/Contract role in Baton Rouge, Louisiana
- 13-week assignment
- Day shift, 5x8 hours
- Monday through Friday
- On-call required for after hours, weekends, and holidays
- On-call response time: 30 minutes
Role Details
- Must function independently in all areas of Endoscopy
- Includes advanced endoscopy procedures such as EUS and ERCP
- Includes pulmonary procedures such as bronchoscopy and EBUS
- Expertise in bariatric procedures and ION Robot is preferred
- May be assigned to an Emergency Team during an emergency event and may need to remain at the facility until the event passes or serve on the relief team
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Louisiana
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Endoscopy experience within the last year
- 2 years of Endoscopy experience
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association or RQI
- BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or RQI
- Experience with advanced endoscopy procedures including ERCP and EUS
- Experience with pulmonary procedures such as EBUS
- Experience with Robotics in endoscopy procedures
Preferred
- Expertise in bariatric procedures
- ION Robot experience
