STICU RN
Overview
- Travel assignment in Kingwood, Texas
- 36 hours per week
- 13-week contract
- Unit: STICU
- 10-bed unit on the 1st floor of the Main building
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Texas
- STICU - Surgical Trauma Intensive Care (1 year of experience)
- STICU - Surgical Trauma Intensive Care experience within the last year
- ACLS
- BLS
- NIHSS
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Critical Care training
- Pressor medication management
- Experience with arterial lines
- Critical drip management
Preferred Qualifications
- Critical drip management
- Art line
Unit Details
- Staffed with 28 total staff
- Day shift: 1 CNC and 5 nurses
- Night shift: 1 CNC and 5 nurses
- Patient ratio: 1:2
- Equipment includes CRRT, vents, MTP, Hemospheres, Art line, and TTM
- Typical procedures include bronchoscopy and CVC and Art line insertion
Floating
- May float to MICU, TICU, and ICC
Schedule
- 4 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule period

- Best personality fit: Flexible
- Dress code: Royal Blue scrubs
- Must follow attendance policy and schedule commitments
