Description
Vascular Surgery
Overview
- 13-week contract in Peoria, Illinois
- 10-hour day shifts
- 40 hours per week
- Department: Vascular Surgery
- 1 suite
- Average of 3 cases per day
- Scrubbing is required
Required Qualifications
- Active IL license or confirmation that the application process has been initiated
- ARRT
- BLS
- At least 2 years of experience with Vascular/Endovascular
- Experience with GE
- Cannot take RCIS
Preferred Qualifications
- IR experience
Schedule and Call
- Weeknight call: 1-2 nights during the week
- Weekend call: every 3rd weekend
- Holiday call rotation
- Call response time: 30 minutes
Floating
- May float within like units and help with Surg Tech
Clinical Details
- Common cases: Endovascular (IR) and Vascular
- Scrub, pass supplies, set up, and take down of the procedure room
- Unit/department-specific orientation includes scrubbing with a hospital surgical tech for a week
Submission Requirements
- Last four digits of clinician’s SSN
- Clinician’s middle initial
- Requested time off
Additional Notes
- Drug screen required for all panels
- Hospital-provided scrubs
- Local rate applies to clinicians with permanent addresses within 50 miles
- Non-billable orientation: 12 hours
- Guaranteed hours do not apply during orientation
- Call-off policy: equivalent of 12 hours every 13 weeks with no penalty or need to pay for the shift
