Role Overview
- Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department
- Travel/Contract assignment in Saint Paul, Minnesota
- Night shift: 3x12 hours, 19:00–7:30
- 36 hours per week
- Ratios: 3:1 on all shifts
- Teaching hospital with Level 3 trauma designation
- 317 staffed beds
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Minnesota
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- ED - Emergency Department (2 years of experience)
- ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
- BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- ACLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- NIHSS
- TNCC
- Pending license accepted
- First-timers accepted
- Will work every third weekend
- Medication Test/Pharmacology Competency Exam
- Competency Exam
- Criminal background check required within 1 year of start
- EPLS/GSA/SAM required within 1 year of start
- HHS/OIG required within 1 year of start
- Primary source verification of license required
- Minnesota DHS clearance required
- RespSafety clearance required before start
- Physical exam within 12 months prior to start
- Tdap required
- Negative TB or chest X-ray required
- Measles, mumps, rubella, varicella, and hepatitis B immunization/documentation requirements apply
- Drug testing required within 1 year of start
- References: 2 required
- Skills checklist required annually
