RRT PICU

Overview

  • Travel/Contract role in Durham, North Carolina
  • 13-week assignment
  • Day shift: 3x12 hours, 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
  • 36 hours per week
  • Targeted start dates: 11/2 or 11/16
  • First-timer OK
  • Local candidates OK
  • Weekend requirement: 6 weekend shifts per schedule
  • Orientation is bi-weekly

Required Qualifications

  • Valid Pediatric Respiratory Therapist license in North Carolina
  • Pediatric Respiratory Therapist (2 years of experience)
  • Pediatric Respiratory Therapist experience within the last year
  • ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association
  • BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
  • PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support issued by American Heart Association
  • NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure
  • Experience working with NICU Level 4 patients
  • Experience working with PICU patients
  • Experience in a Critical Care setting
  • Experience in an Emergency Department setting
  • Experience with High frequency jet ventilator
  • Experience with Oscillating Ventilator
  • Certified Respiratory Therapy - NICU experience
  • Flu vaccine required with no exemptions or declinations accepted
  • Must pass EKG/Telemetry exam onsite
