Echo Tech
Overview
- Travel assignment in Overland Park, Kansas
- Unit: Heart Center
- Building: A
- 343-bed facility
- 40 hours per week
- Schedule: 4/10s, 0700-1730
- On-call rotation every 5–7 days, with 13.5-hour call starting at 1730-0700; weekend call every 5th-7th weekend
- Contract length: 12 weeks
Required Qualifications
- Echo Technologist with 1 year of experience
- Echo Technologist experience within the last year
- BLS, RDCS, or RCS
- Experience working with Adult patients
- TTE/TEE experience
Preferred
- PEDS is a plus
- TEE experience is a plus
Clinical Details
- Patient experience includes Adult Echo and Adult TEE
- Procedures performed: TTE, TEE, Stress Echo
- Equipment: Vivid E95--GE
- Documentation systems: Echo Reporting: Merge; EMR: Meditech
Additional Notes
- Navy Blue Scrubs required
- Unit staffing includes unit secretaries and tech availability
- Tenured staff with 7 to 25 years’ experience; 2 new grads in orientation
- Non-Invasive Manager is an experienced Echo Tech
