Description
Certified Surgical Tech (CST)
Overview
- Temp assignment in Keene, New Hampshire
- Day shift, 10 hours per day
- 13-week contract
- The role is in the Surgery Department and the CST will primarily function in a scrubbing capacity; may also assist in circulating duties in the surgical suite
Required Qualifications
- Certified Surgical Technologist with 2 years of experience
- Certified Surgical Technologist experience within the last year
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- NBSTSA
- Driver's License
- Experience with total joint surgery procedures
- Experience with orthospine surgery
- High proficiency in neuro surgery
Preferred Qualifications
- 1 to 2 supervisory signed references from within the past two years of employment
Scheduling / Availability
- No schedule accommodations such as block scheduling
- Requested time off must be noted and verified at upload
- No more than 5 days of requested time off will be accepted
- All scheduling requests must be made at the time of submission
- Travelers may not take all holidays off
- Local travelers within 50 miles of the facility are not considered
- Not for travelers who want to work in conjunction with another perm placement or travel assignment
Clinical Focus
- Surgical treatment across endocrine, breast, oncologic, gastrointestinal, colon and rectal, and hepatobiliary procedures
- Uses and maintains specialized equipment and supplies for specific surgical procedures
