Description

Registered Nurse (RN) - Labor & Delivery (L&D)

Location: Hackensack, New Jersey
Employment Type: Clinical

Job Summary

  • Evaluate patients and assist physicians with patient care.
  • Plan, implement, and document nursing care based on patient needs.
  • Identify patient needs and determine priorities for care through assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
  • Develop, implement, and coordinate individualized plans of care through initial and ongoing assessments.
  • Initiate assessments based on patient problems, physician diagnoses, and functional health frameworks.
  • Perform therapeutic nursing interventions.
  • Manage patient care and document according to standards of care, patient acuity, and clinical priorities.
  • Advocate for evidence-based practice care standards and support adoption of innovations in care delivery.
  • Provide patient-centric care aligned with professional nursing practice models.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Contract Length

  • Approximately 23 weeks (162 days converted to weeks).

Required Experience

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in Labor & Delivery or related specialty.
