Registered Nurse (RN) - 6S Telemetry Stepdown

Unit Description

• 28-bed unit specializing in recovery following vascular and electrophysiology procedures
• Care for patients with acute myocardial infarction (MI), cardiac arrhythmias, syncope, cardiomyopathy, and heart failure
• Provides cardiac monitoring for all patient populations
• Services include titration of multiple intravenous medications and conscious sedation for cardioversions
• All nurses are ACLS certified and have completed ECG interpretation courses
• Suitable for nurses interested in transitioning to an ICU setting

Education Requirements

• Required: Diploma of Nursing
• Preferred: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)

Certifications & Licensure

• Required:

  • Ohio RN license or Compact RN license
  • BLS (American Heart Association)
  • ACLS (American Heart Association)
