Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse (RN) - Adult Psychiatric Care (8-Hour Shift)
Location: Peoria, Illinois
Specialty: Adult Psychiatric Nursing (CMH-NTR-ADUP:RN UP - CMH Adult Psych 8H)

Job Description
- Provide professional nursing care to a group of patients during assigned shifts.
- Utilize nursing processes, current nursing trends, technology, and resources to deliver patient care.
- Perform initial patient assessments upon admission and develop individualized plans of care.
- Implement and modify nursing interventions and patient care procedures based on ongoing evaluation.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of nursing care.
- Ensure patient and employee safety by identifying and addressing hazards.
- Communicate effectively with healthcare team members and provide constructive feedback to peers.
- Identify personal learning needs and pursue professional development.
- Fulfill all departmental competency requirements.
Requirements
Experience
- Minimum 5 years of relevant nursing experience.
Education
- Required: Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN)
- Preferred: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
Certifications & Licensure
- Illinois State RN License in good standing
- BLS (American Heart Association)
Additional Information
- Travelers will be responsible for unit keys, which must be returned or shipped back with tracking after assignment completion. Failure to return keys within 30 days may result in a fee.
