Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse (RN) - Adult Psychiatric Care (8H)
Location: Peoria, Illinois

Job Description
- Provide professional nursing care to a designated group of patients using the nursing process and current nursing practices.
- Perform all unit-specific responsibilities within the scope of service.
- Implement procedures and theories related to adult psychiatric nursing.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of nursing care.
- Complete initial patient assessments upon admission and develop appropriate care plans based on patient and family needs.
- Implement and modify care plans based on ongoing evaluation.
- Ensure patient and employee safety by reporting and addressing hazards and incidents.
- Communicate effectively with team members to resolve issues and provide constructive feedback.
- Identify personal learning needs and pursue professional development.
- Fulfill all departmental competency requirements.
Requirements
Experience
- Minimum 5 years of relevant nursing experience.
Education
- Required: Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN)
- Preferred: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
Certifications & Licensure
- Illinois State RN License in good standing
- BLS (American Heart Association)
Additional Information
- Travelers will be responsible for unit keys, which must be returned or shipped back at the end of the assignment. Failure to return keys within 30 days may result in a fee.
