Job Opportunity: Travel RN - ICU

Job Description

• Perform thorough and systematic patient assessments across all age groups (Pediatric to Geriatric).
• Deliver competent and appropriate nursing care in the ICU setting.
• Demonstrate knowledge and skill in emergency equipment and procedures.
• Maintain complete and accurate documentation of nursing processes and patient progress.
• Uphold professional practice responsibilities and adhere to policies and procedures.
• Promote patient and family-centered care with professionalism and confidentiality (HIPAA compliance).
• Follow National Patient Safety Goals, including Universal Protocol and patient identification standards.
• Use safe transfer techniques and proper body mechanics.
• Understand conditions, procedures, and equipment related to surgical patients; individualize care accordingly.
• Provide patient education pre- and post-operatively, including assessing patient understanding.
• Support timely completion and evaluation of Pre Admission Testing (PAT) orders.

Requirements

• Experience: Minimum 1 year ICU experience required.
• Licenses/Certifications:

  • RN License (Required)
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) (Required)
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) (Required)
• Education: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing. Associates or Bachelor's Degree preferred.

Contract Length

• 13 weeks (approximately 3 months)
