Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)

Location: Holmdel, New Jersey

Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Summary

Provide and administer all aspects of Respiratory Care Therapy and supportive equipment under supervision. Responsibilities include:

• Deliver respiratory therapy under medical direction for patients with cardiopulmonary deficiencies.
• Assist with intubation and manage ventilator set-up.
• Evaluate patient needs, provide disease education, and collaborate with healthcare professionals.
• Build rapport with patients, caregivers, and team members to support care goals.
• Educate patients/caregivers based on identified needs.
• Perform other assigned duties.
• Adhere to organizational competencies and standards.
• Physical requirements: lift, push, pull minimum 5 lbs., stand at least 1 hour daily.
• Regular contact with medical personnel and visitors.

Education & Certifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program.
• Current and valid New Jersey Respiratory Care license.
• Current and valid NBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification.
• BLS (AHA), ACLS, and PALS certifications required.
