Description

Respiratory Therapist - Grand Blanc, Michigan

Job Summary

Deliver life-support, resuscitation, monitoring, and various medical gases therapy to patients.
Perform invasive and non-invasive diagnostic procedures for Intensive Care and General Practice Units patients.
Maintain clinical expertise across various departmental assignments.
Communicate effectively with patients, co-workers, physicians, and other system employees regarding patient care needs.
Document all aspects of patient care accurately.
Supervise, direct, and delegate tasks to Respiratory Therapists, orientees, externs, and students as assigned.
Complete necessary and accurate patient billing information.

Contract Length

13 weeks

Required Skills & Experience

Minimum 2 years of recent Respiratory Therapist experience.

Education Requirements

Required: Associate of Science Degree from an accredited Respiratory Therapist program.
Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy.

Certification & Licensure

Registration with the National Board of Respiratory Care.
Current Respiratory Therapist license in the State of Michigan.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
