Job Description

Seeking a Physical Therapist with experience in large acute care facilities. The role involves:

• Patient evaluation and establishing plans of care and treatment programs
• Providing interventions and patient/family education
• Documenting interventions and billing appropriately
• Supporting Lead Clinicians in competency development and implementation
• Participating in orientation of new staff and serving as a clinical instructor for students
• Exercising independent judgment on moderately complex cases with minimal supervision

Requirements

• License: New Jersey Physical Therapy license required
• Education: Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy academic program
• Experience: 4 years of experience as a Physical Therapist (preferred range 0-4 years, but defaulting to higher requirement)
• Preferred:

  • Experience in acute care within a large academic medical setting
  • Board Certification as a Specialist suitable for acute care
  • Prior successful clinical affiliation with the facility
