Location: Peoria, Illinois

Job Summary
The Registered Nurse (RN) provides professional nursing care to a group of patients during a designated time frame. Responsibilities include utilizing the nursing process, current nursing trends, technology, and resources to deliver quality patient care within the institution's philosophy.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform all unit-specific nursing duties within the scope of service.
- Implement procedures and theories related to cardiac nursing practice.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of nursing care for healthcare team use.
- Complete initial patient assessments upon admission and develop appropriate care plans based on patient and family needs.
- Implement and modify plans of care and nursing interventions based on continuous evaluation.
- Ensure patient and employee safety by reporting or correcting hazards and incidents.
- Communicate effectively with colleagues to resolve issues and provide constructive feedback.
- Identify personal learning needs and pursue professional development.
- Fulfill all departmental competency requirements.
Requirements
Experience
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant nursing experience.
Education
- Required: Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN)
- Preferred: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
Certifications & Licensure
- Illinois State RN License in good standing
- BLS (American Heart Association)
Prior Travel Experience
- Not specified / not required
